Some people do, but others don't
Some say they will, but then they won't
Some amongst us doing things they shouldn't
The rest of us knelt praying-to-God they wouldn't

If these simple words I'm singing come across
As making life sound all mixed up to you
A bit confused to you
May I suggest it's nothing short, my own review
Of what our troubled, wobbly World
Has pushed us all into

No lame excuse, comes from everywhere

A sober chant, unwanted Anthem, flags unfurled
Lamenting mass destruction
Man and Nature's devastation
Solemn pleas for safe salvation
From a changing wobbly world

These days united prayers of hope, a chant

Of what our troubled, wobbly World
Has pushed us all into

So where to from this day forward
Is the challenge that we all must face together
Eradicating terrorism first and foremost,
And, while conceding Mother Nature drives the weather,
Doing everything on Earth we can
To ensure our changing wobbly World can't fall
Any lower than we're at,
Lift ourselves back off the floor
To where solemn pleas for safe salvation
Aren't our anthem any more

A minority doing things MOST can't
Which makes our common prayer a chant
